Boo to you!

Happy Friday everyone!
I have the pleasure in my hands my fav Monster stamp set by Mudra and its packed with lovely images and sentiments. It can be used in so many ways and here is one! I will be showcasing few projects using this stamp set this month :) Halloween excitement is ON!!!

I used my Zig real brush markers to color these images and for background I used distress inks. To give a bright and happy look to the card I pasted some yellow Washi tape on the borders of the card.
Fuzzy cut all the images and paste using foam tape for the dimension we all love :)
Here is a closer look to the card....

Small gift box with Silver Crackle and Gold finish

Hi Friends,
I am back with one more box :) This one has a touch of masculine because of bright Cobalt Blue color.

For this MDF box I first painted the whole box with cobalt blue Plaid FolkArt Acrylic all surface paint. I did not use gesso to prepare by surface because you can use this paint directly on any surface.
Then used Plaid's silver crackle acrylic paint on a beautiful stencil to make this gorgeous design. If you take the close up, you can see the small crackles.
Distress all the edges using Gold Nuvo mousse.
Apply the same Gold Nuvo mousse on the chipboard embellishment, Finnabair metallica label embellishment and cabochon pearls. The Mousse covers all the surfaces beautifully. I used my fingers to apply the mousse.
Finally, apply two coats of varnish to seal everything.
Here is a close up of the top of the box. Hope you like my project and got inspire :)

Then using Plaid Alibaba stencils on all the four sides as well as on top I decorated the box using Silver acrylic paint. Finally some dry brushing to tone down the bright color a little bit as well as to give some distressed look.

Lastly , two coats of Varnish and you are done!

Christmas cards with Creative Expressions Zentangle Festive Sentiments Stamp set

Hi my crafty friends, its never to early for Christmas cards. So here I am , back with 4 Christmas cards. I used Zentangle Festive Sentiments Stamp set by Creative Expressions. Used my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to clear the sentiment images. Not to forget Mini Misti is a blessing!

For the first card, I stamped the image, colored it and for some extra touch I did some stenciling over the border of the panel.

I used 3-4 shades green markers to color the stamped image. Merry word and snowman is from kaisercraft Merry Christmas Stamp set. Used plaid PP to layer the card.

For the third card, I stamped script stamp using light blue Momento ink for tone on tone effect.

For the last card, I heat embossed the sentiment using Gold embossing powder and then colored it.

Mixed media box - If you can dream it...

Time for another mixed media box!
For today I created a small box combining decoupage, stone paste set stenciling. I also used metal charms embellishments.
I just love the silver antique look of the box. To make this box I first white painted it using acrylic paints. Then did the decoupage work on all the sides and inside.
Used Prima's stone paste set on Tim holtz stone effect stencils. Then added some colour using Lindy's Industrial chick spray paints. Pasted metal charms. Used silver acrylic paint for highlighting the edges and charms.
Here are few close ups of the box..
