Diwali Gift Box with a transparent panel on top

 hey, my dear Craft friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas Soaps Gift box I made last year. The inspiration came from the beautiful pattern paper lying in my drawer :)

this is a slider box. I used black card stock to make the base of the box. I used this pattern paper to wrap around the box. the acetate sheet helps to peek inside the box :) pasted the die-cutting embellishment to give a festive look.

Tied the golden ribbon for added interest :)

Comment below if you want me to share the measurements and detailed steps to make this box.

Hope you like the box. Check out my soap collection at Peakaku.com

Makeover of laptop Table - Rugged Wooden Palette look

Hi there, welcome back to my channel. Today I am sharing the makeover of my old laptop table which developed a small crack recently on its surface. So I kind of tried to fix the crack using the modelling paste on stencils. I decided to go with the Rugged Wooden Palette Look of the final table. It is so bright yet subtle looking!!

I used acrylic paints on this table. Here are the few more pics of the table.

Hope you like it and get inspired :) :)

Mosaic on Earthen Pot

Hello my Crafty friends,
I am back with sharing a Mosaic project I did last year but didn't get time to post it, so here I am with my first Mosaic project and believe me its addictive!
All you need is Mosaic tiles , Glue, Grout and Acrylic Colors to color the grout or rest of the pot. I used yellow for grout and Grey for the top border of the pot. Generally we cut manually the ceramic tiles, but Amazon has some pre-cut tiles so I tried my hands on it and here is the result ..

I observed that since it is an old earthen pot, the Amazon grout developed some cracks in it. I will try doing the technique on other surfaces and will share my observations ...
Thanks!

Makeover of Wooden Chowki - Decoupage

Hi Friends,
I am back with a decoupage project. This is my old Chowki which was wearing out from some places. So I thought of a makeover! Browsed my stash and got these coaster decoupage papers. I layered them on the surface and got this look!

 This was the old Chowki.
First through a sand paper scrub the whole surface. Paint 2 layers of Gesso primer. Scrub the surface again to smooth it out. Now layer the decoupage papers. Using Glue paste them. A coat of decoupage is required after it is dry. Now paint the rest of the body through white acrylic paint. Once dry give 2-3 coats of varnish and its done!!!
Here is a video
Hope you like the project! Thanks.

Lagan Parika (ISINABISI) - Clay Modelling Art - Bride Waiting for her Groom :)

Hi Friends,
Hope you all are doing good and optimizing your Lockdown time. Today I am going to share with you a Lagan patrika I made few months back but didnt get the time to share with you all.
In our culture Isinabisi (family Introduction / Lagan patrika) is sent from Bride's family to the Groom's family. It has names of the Bride's parents, family members inviting the Groom and his family to the wedding.
This time i tried my hands on Clay Modelling Art.

I made a bride using Shilpkar Clay, painted and decorated it.

From the local market I purchased one wooden board. Painted it using Acrylic colors and did some stenciling. Using a handmade paper i made a scroll and wrote the message using gel pen.

Decorated the platter using a small metal diya. Put the paper scroll and you are done!

Everyone in the family the project and appreciated the Clay Modelling work. I am so happy with the final result :)

Chipboard Music theme Photoframe using DCWV Scripts And Music Notes paper pack

Welcome my crafty friends, today I am back with another DIY photo frame project. Client wanted a Music/education theme look, so I used DCWV Scripts And Music Notes paper pack 12"*12". Love the sober look of the paper. Use Music Chipboard by Mudra to embellish the frame. White ribbon to hang and join the three frames. Use tissue script paper scraps to make the tussle, hanging at the bottom.

Size of each frame is 24 cms by 18 cms which means 9.25 " by 7" inch. Cut the base of the frame chipboard of this size. Front panel size - 9.25"by 6.75". leaving the border of 1.5" from all 4 sides cut the center part.
Cover both front and the back chipboard panels using beautiful papers of the paper pack.
Size - back - 10"*12", front - 9"*12".
Paste acetate sheet at the back of the front panel. Tissue paper sheet on the top of the back panel for the shine. To give the depth, add thin chipboard panels on the three sides of the frame, leaving one side to insert the photo in.
Paste the embellishments and voila you are done!
the fame can easily hold 4"by 6" picture. Since this was a gift, I also made a gift box, decorated a little bit and a simple note card.
 Size - 12"*28". height - 2.5", length - 11". So we need - long side = 2.5, 11, 2.5, 11, 1.5 inches.
short side 2", 8", 2". this was a mistake, ideally it should be 2.5".
Decorate with Doily, Prima script flowers and die cut leaves

Hope you like the project and got inspired :)
