Lagan Parika (ISINABISI) - Clay Modelling Art - Bride Waiting for her Groom :)

Hi Friends,
Hope you all are doing good and optimizing your Lockdown time. Today I am going to share with you a Lagan patrika I made few months back but didnt get the time to share with you all.
In our culture Isinabisi (family Introduction / Lagan patrika) is sent from Bride's family to the Groom's family. It has names of the Bride's parents, family members inviting the Groom and his family to the wedding.
This time i tried my hands on Clay Modelling Art.

I made a bride using Shilpkar Clay, painted and decorated it.

From the local market I purchased one wooden board. Painted it using Acrylic colors and did some stenciling. Using a handmade paper i made a scroll and wrote the message using gel pen.

Decorated the platter using a small metal diya. Put the paper scroll and you are done!

Everyone in the family the project and appreciated the Clay Modelling work. I am so happy with the final result :)

Wall mural style - Indian wedding Family Intro (lagan patrika, also called Isinabisi)

Hi Friends,
Hope you all are doing good. Today I am going to share with you a very unique project :)
I made one journaling book, called Isinabisi for my sister's wedding.
In India, Isinabisi is made by Bride's side and gifted to Groom's family. It contains the names of the Bride's parents, family members with their brief introduction in poetic form. it is basically a form of invitation.
Front and back are chipboard die cuts. Ganesha is made using clay and silicon mould. here is the link to make the front panel of the book -Ganesha Wall Mural
I used stencils and mooses to decorate the pages. used Spellbinders dies to cut the labels out.
Sit back and relax as I take you through all the pages of the Isinabisi.
Here is the link of one more Isinabisi I made for my other sister's wedding -

Mixed Media - Indian wedding Family Intro (Parichay, also called Isinabisi)

Hi Friends,
Hope you all are doing good. Today I am going to share with you a very unique project :)
I made one journaling book, called Isinabisi for my sister's wedding.
In India, Isinabisi is made by Bride's side and gifted to Groom's family. It contains the names of the Bride's parents, family members with their brief introduction in poetic form.
Front page of the book is a Mixed Media panel. Dimension of the book is 8 inches by 8 inches. The main focus of the panel is the wooden Barat Band miniatures and the Resin circle frame. I used gel medium to paste all the embellishments. Perfect pearls are used to give some extra shine to all the embellishments. For background I used my stencils and Gold paste. Heat embossing using gold fine powder is done on vellum sheets.
Sit back and enjoy the video of Isinabisi... (I know this book has a funny name ;) )
