Hello friends! Hope you are all doing good, having fun and enjoying life..
Today I have a very special project to share.. this is a Computer mouse box which I decorated using Gold Embossing Paste. I love how it turned out....
I took a white CS and cut out pieces for all the sides of the box. Colored all the pieces using Green Distress Ink. Added green glitter over the surface to add shine. Then I used Gold Embossing Paste over Rhapsody stencil.
Golden and Red Rose flowers are hand made and are pasted using glue gun.
Today I am going to share few Cash envelopes that I made for gifting. Please have a look at them. I decided to use stencils and embossing technique on white water color paper.
This one is totally different from the rest of the lot as I used Metallic Gold Embossing Paste on Echoes Stencils on red color CS. Once the paste is dried up, to add more shine, I added red color glitters. Chomped the corners. Layered it on dark green color CS and distressed the front of the envelope through Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
This one is my favorite, may be because of the color :-P. Using Seedless Preserves distress Ink I colored the front of the envelope. Then I tied a purple broad ribbon on it. I used Texture Rhapsody stencil and white embossing paste on a water color paper. Once dried I colored it with same distress ink. I pasted a matching pattern paper inside the envelope from Mambi print sheets and the punched the Border.
This one quite similar to the purple one except that I used Broken China distress Ink and tied a twine on satin ribbon to give some contrasting look.
For below envelope I used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink along with Garden Umbel stencil. In this I left some patches of white at the corners .. Just trying different styles :-P
Below is made using the Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and Garden Umbel stencil.
Time Travel stencil and Stormy Sky Distress Ink is giving some masculine look to the envelope. Actually, the front of the envelope is colored using two colors- Broken China and Stormy Sky. Then I sprayed some water on it through a mister in order to blend the two shades.
For the last envelope, I used dark pink CS. On a water color paper I stamped small flowers using Pink momento ink. Then I colored the flowers using glitter pens. Embossing is done using Harlequin stencil. I colored embossing paste using Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. To tone down the background I rubbed Worn Lipstick Distress Ink color on it using Blending tool. Once it is dried, I pasted twine and a Pink flower on it.
I am very happy today as I made to Top 3 @ Lulupu Challenge #33. Ye Ye !! :) :)
I created a Pop-Up Card whose inspiration is hoot - 2 Pop-Up Cards tutorial. I tried to replicate that card, here is the outcome ..
I used 5X5 inches light brown color card stock for this card. The sentiment is hand written and then fuzzy cut.
Vintage brown distress ink is used on all the borders of the card to hide white edges.
When card is opened, a Bird is sitting on a branch. To make that branch, I used the same pattern paper that I created for tree trunk. Then did some shading on the leaves using green marker
Branch and leaves are then fuzzy cut out.
The PP pasted inside of the card are then trimmed out little shorter then the edge, using the scallop scissor and then pasted on the opposite sides.
To make this card, I created 4 pattern papers myself:
1. Leaves pasted on the front page, are hand drawn using white gel pen on green color card stock.
2. To give the look of a tree trunk, I heat embossed clear embossing powder on dark brown color card stock using stem stamp from 'Autumn Crisp - Clear Acrylic Stamp - Pine' .
3. PP pasted on the left side of the interior of the card, is made through layered stamping technique.
On a water color paper, I used Desert Brown Momento ink on a bubble wrap. After this, I stamped bug on it from Lawn Fawn's 'On the Mend' stamp kit and colored it using Grey color Momento Ink.
4. To make the PP pasted on the right side of the card, again I did layered stamping using the stamps from Autumn Crisp - Clear Acrylic Stamp - Pine.
This is not a background stamp, but I used this stamp excessively to made these backgrounds.

I am entering this card in the below competitions :

Here you have what looks like a tree with a Bird poking through from its little hole saying Hi.
Lulupu Challenge # 34 - Bingo! :
My card satisfies top most across line. Bird peeping out is Die Cut. The Location pin symbol is from Wood Veeners. The trunk of the tree is heat embossed.
