Ecofriendly Mandala Rakhi - Dot Painting

Welcome friends, here I am back with Mandala Dot Art rakhi. Mandala is indeed releases your stress as its colorful and it just grows on its own :)
basically, mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. In fact, "mandala" is a Sanskrit word that means "circle". Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms. Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms.
Punch two holes across the diameter for the white synthetic thread and add two pearls to give the rakhi a complete look!

In the comments below share your handmade rakhi pics :)

Rakhi Gift Box with a Shaker card

Welcome Friends,
Rakhi is an Indian festival that celebrates brotherhood and love.  It is celebrated on the full moon in the month of Sravana in the lunar calendar. To celebrate the festival in style I have created a Rakhi Gift Box for my brother. The Box contains Rakhi and chocolates. Back side of the box has a shaker greeting card. Use ribbon to close the box.

1. First make a shaker card. Size - 4.25*5.5 inch. For Cardbase use Dress my craft 250 gsm Floral Orientation paper. For front Panel use DCWV - The Citrus matstack pattern paper. Stamp and color the images using water color pencils. Hand written sentiment using Black permanent marker.

2. Then I made a simple Rakhi using wooden rings, beads and cabochons. even Kids can easily make it. Color the wooden ring using Acrylic colors. Use Glossy Accents to glue the cabochon on the wooden ring. Use paper twine to tie.

3. Make a box style envelope using 1-2-3 Punch board. Size - 9*9 inch. Paste papericious pattern papers on both the sides. size 8.75 * 8.75 inch. Decorate Front of the Envelope using die cuts, doily, flowers and sentiments.

Here is a quick video of the gift box:

Hope you like my project. Thanks for stopping by!

Golden 50th anniversary scrapbook album using DCWV Espresso collection

Hi there, I am going to share the video and few pics of the 8*8 inch album I made recently. Since this is for one elderly couple I didn't want to use heart / love images for the album. DCWV Espresso collection was just apt for the album. The album cover is made of chipboard.
Added few metal charms/pearls as they were going with the theme. I kept all the pages clean and simple. Here are the pics:

I made a box for the album as I feel it keeps the album safe and pple can keep few treasures also in side the box.
Here is the video of the Album:

Photo frame - Life is Beautiful

Hi ! Today I am sharing a photo frame I created using my carpenter's leftover discarded wooden planks. on the raw wooden base, I did some stenciling using wood grain stencil and modelling paste. Add color as well as waxes.
paste wooden/veneer decorations like wooden frame, Life is beautiful sentiment, rectangle base behind it and the flower garden below it. Color them all, varnish it and its done :)
Super easy and shiny (because of the waxes)! thanks!
