Perfect pearls and colored wood veneers

Hi Friends,

Today I am going to share with you a Get well soon card I created for a relative.

Here is a small tutorial of the above card.
To make this card, I took a white thick card stock with dimension 5 by 7 inches.
Through seedless preserve distress ink I coloured the boundary of the front card approximately 1.5 inches.
Then I took another white card stock slightly smaller than the card base. I stamped it with background stamp using versamark ink. I then brushed perfect pearls on the design and to kind of fix it, I air brushed some water from mini mister.
I then rounded off the corners 1/4 inches.
I used wood veneers extensively to decorate the front of the card, these were lying in my box for a long time.
I colored the butterflies using my sketch pens. Then heat embossed these with clear embossing powder to fix the color as well give some shine.
To give some further shine and dimension to the butterflies and the get well soon wood veneers, I used glossy accents and then added glitter using stella marker pen.

Instead of using foam tabs, I used white craft foam to stick the front of the card to the card base.
With lawn fawn's on the mend stamp set, I stamped sentiments inside the card.
I used Orange color envelope to post the card as I didnt had any other.
To decorate the envelope, I used the flower vase and feel better sentiment from the same stamp set and used momento Orange color ink to give a tone on tone look !

Hope u liked my card. Thanks for stopping by!

I am submitting this card for the challenge:

water color using perfect pearls

Hi friends,
Hope you all are doing good! I am posting after a long time. I got blessed with a baby boy on 8th dec 2014, so was busy with him.
Today I got some time so I'm sharing with you a project a did couple of months back for a relative.
I made 45 invites for their House Warming Ceremony. Here are few pics and a short tutorial of the same.

To make these cards, plain white card stock with dimension 4 by 5.5 inches. Back ground stamp is Floral Doorway & Latch PreCut Set from Heartfelt Creations. The whole image is Then heat embossed using gold embossing powder.
Next step was to color the flower, branches and leaves. I used distress inks for water colouring.
Seedless preserves, peeled paint, peacock feathers and spiced marmalade.
I added perfect pearls in my mini mister and added that water in distress inks. Colours I used are berry twist, turquoise, blush respectively.

On envelopes I stamped two birds in a cage stamp from summer breeze collection by kaiser craft which was totally going with the mood of the card.

I made 45 of these cards for her and courier her in the packs of 9 or 10!

Hope you like my design. Thanks for stopping by.

Scenery through Stencils!

Hi Friends,

Happy Diwali to you !!!

I am going to share with you a scenery card created using various Stencils.
To make the clouds, on a water color paper, I used Bubble stencil with broken china Distress Ink. and then fuzzy cut them.
To make the land area, I used Chevron stencil with Green Distress Ink and then fuzzy cut the two pieces.

On a water color paper, I used the wet wash water coloring technique to make the night sky and background. I used Green, Broken China and Stormy Sky Distress Inks.
To make the stars, I used Stars Stencils and heat embossed with White color.
To make the evening sun, I again used Bubble stencil and colored the largest circle with yellow and Purple Distress Inks. I then fuzzy cut it out. To add some shine on the sun I generously used Glossy Accents :)

Then I assembled all the pieces using tape and foam tabs .. to give some depth in the objects. Pasted the red twine and a Flower at the middle of the scenery to fill in the blank space.
I stamped the sentiment on the vellum using Black Momento ink and cut out in banner shape.
To add some shine, I pasted one Rhinestone on the middle of the flower and other at the end of the banner.

Finally, to make the base of the card, I used Butterfly stencil and Camel Modelling paste on a bright green CS. Then I pasted my scenery on the CS using foam tape.

Hope you will like my card!!!
